Guernsey Gigs Live Sessions

The Guernsey Gigs Live Sessions offer original music acts the chance to have a professionally recorded live performance that can be used to secure gigs, festival slots, and industry recognition. We’re looking for artists and bands who are actively performing and ready to invest in their career with high-quality promotional content.

Each session is produced in collaboration with Apocalypse Studios, ensuring top-tier audio and video production. Selected artists will receive a professionally mixed and filmed live session, which can be used as a key promotional tool for booking shows, applying to festivals, and growing their audience.

Who Should Apply?

Selection is based on performance quality, audience engagement, and the potential impact of a professionally recorded session. Priority will be given to acts that:

✓ Perform regularly and have an active presence in the local or regional music scene.

✓ Have clear plans for how they will use the video to secure gigs and grow their audience.

✓ Have ambition to perform outside of the Island

✓ Are committed to promoting the session through social media and industry connections.

What You’ll Get:

✓ A professionally recorded and mixed live session (Full Band or Acoustic).

✓ A fully edited performance video, optimized for social media & industry use.

✓ A feature on the Guernsey Gigs YouTube channel & website, with promotional support.

Your Commitment: Maximizing the Opportunity

To prove the effectiveness of these sessions and ensure we continue to receive the funding to offer this service to more bands in the future, all selected artists must complete a follow-up form 3–6 months after their session. This will track how the session has helped in securing gigs, increasing visibility, and expanding industry reach.

To maximize this opportunity, artists must be proactive in using the video effectively by:

✓ Actively sharing the video across all social media platforms and tagging relevant promoters, festivals, and industry figures.

✓ Using session clips for Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and promotional content to reach wider audiences.

✓Incorporating the session video into press kits, festival applications, and booking emails.

✓ Sending the video directly to promoters, venues, and music industry contacts to showcase performance ability.

✓ Engaging with fans and industry professionals who discover you through the session.

✓ Keeping track of any gigs, press, or new opportunities that result from this video and reporting back in the follow-up.
